Cook With Me! Fajita Tacos
Hey guys, I hope you’re having a fantastic week:-)
So Friday nights have been named Family Fun Night in the Roché house🤣. We always have soooo much fun. Every Friday we have a rotation where we take turns picking the meal, movie and activities. We’ve all agreed that no matter which movie each person picks, as long as it’s family-oriented, we have to watch it. We always get super nervous when it’s my 4-year old’s turn because we never know what he’s going to pick and he usually goes rogue on us.
Last Friday was my turn, and I decided to make some fajita tacos…which by the way were delicious!!! I used flank steak, and I started with a dry rub seasoning of the following ingredients:
- Black pepper
- Lawry’s seasoned salt
- Onion powder
- Garlic powder
- Fajita seasoning
- Paprika
- Cayenne pepper
Once I had the steak completely coated I used a liquid marinade and put it in the fridge right before leaving for work (approx. 9 hours):
- Soy sauce
- Worcestershire sauce
- KC Masterpiece Honey Teriyaki Marinade
I usually don’t measure ingredients unless I’m making something for the first time (no judgements, please:), I just kind of eyeball the amount based on the size of the steak.
Check out the video below, and please leave me a comment letting me know what you like to do when spending time with your family.
Until next time…
