We’ve been in quarantine for months now, and lately the days seem to run together into one looooong groundhog day. I literally have to look at my calendar a few times a day to see what the date is.

I’m more of a casual chick, so dress-up days were far and few in-between for me even before quarantine. But since we’ve been in the house with nowhere to go, I actually kind of miss getting all dolled up.

Here’s one of my favorite looks:

It looks like a dress, but it’s actually a two-piece that I picked up from shopwomanevolve. Pairing it with sleek, straight hair and a red lip made for a timeless, classic look.

On this particular day, the kids were with my parents, so my husband and I decided to take advantage of the day and get some quick shots in before heading to dinner.

Of course, I was trying to be super-focused and professional…which didn’t last long at all.

I started being silly, he started laughing, and the photoshoot was pretty much a bust from that point on.

And I would do it all over again…exactly the same way.
