There have been times in my life (past & present) where I’ve allowed fear, whether it be of failure or of the unknown to paralyze me, keeping me from doing what God told me to do. The feelings of regret that I experienced as a result of it always outweighed my feeling of fear.

There have also been times in my life where I’ve been absolutely terrified to do something, but I did it anyway. And whether I succeeded or failed, nothing could be compared to the fulfillment that I had from the experience.

Someone told me that fear and faith can absolutely exist within the same space, and I agree with them. Fear will always be there in some capacity, we would never have to overcome it if it didn’t exist. But don’t ever let the presence of your fear dominate the presence of your faith.

If God told you to start a business, move into a different career, get married, let a relationship go or whatever He’s told you to do, do it. Even if you have to do it afraid, do it anyway. Faith and fear both demand us to believe in something we cannot see, but we must choose.

Today, I have chosen to let fear watch me win.✨
